This is the privacy policy for CarMedic, an upcoming AI-powered app that helps drivers diagnose car problems from engine sounds. The app is being built by Dr. Hemdan Shalaby, based in the United Kingdom. This policy covers the waitlist signup on this site. A separate app-specific policy will be published when the app launches.

What data we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect only your email address. Nothing else. No name, no phone number, no tracking.

Why we collect it

Your email is used for one purpose: to tell you when CarMedic is available to try, and occasionally to share a meaningful update on the build. We do not sell, rent, or share your email with advertisers or data brokers.

Where your email is stored

Form submissions are processed by Formspree, a third-party form service acting as a data processor on our behalf. Your email sits in a Formspree inbox and in our sending tool when we write to you.

Your rights under UK GDPR

• Unsubscribe at any time: every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
• Request deletion of your email from our records.
• Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correct any information that is inaccurate.

Cookies and tracking

This waitlist page does not use cookies, analytics trackers, or advertising pixels.

Children

CarMedic is not directed at children under 16. If you believe a child has submitted their email, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be notified by email to waitlist subscribers.
